McAfee, Amsterdam

This office design and fit-out project for a leading security software provider had to be completed within challenging timescales as McAfee wanted its EMEA headquarters in Amsterdam stripped to the core for a complete fit-out in just nine weeks. This was no small task given it was a two-storey building. The aim was to create a no compromise workplace to reflect its strong brand identity and showcase its cutting-edge technology.

The priority was to make a clear design statement to emphasise the state-of-the-art technology throughout the office interior. Central to the ground floor was this client’s first Executive Briefing Centre (EBC) in Europe. This is where McAfee now demonstrates its software to clients and senior EMEA executives. The first floor has flexible office spaces for staff, meeting rooms, informal areas and break-out facilities. An elegant 26-chair boardroom features a bespoke Corian table.

Despite the challenging nature of this project, the client set an extremely tight timescale. Our strong working relationship with McAfee, based on having completed numerous Office fit-outs across Europe, enabled us to work fast. The result was an uncompromising solution delivered on time.
