We’re proud to announce that Area has won two awards at the 15th Office of the Year Awards in Budapest, taking home international recognition for our projects with Lenovo and Office Space in Town (OSiT).
This was the first year the awards opened up to global entries – and we’re thrilled to have been recognised on that stage.
- Office of the Year: Sustainability (International) – Lenovo
- Office of the Year: Design (International) – OSiT
These awards reflect the quality of collaboration between our teams and clients – and our shared commitment to designing and delivering workspaces that do more than just look good. They work hard for people and the planet.
“A brilliant result for everyone involved. Two very different projects, two exceptional clients, and one shared approach – open, collaborative and focused on quality,” said Lee Day, Managing Director, Area Europe. “These wins highlight the value of real partnership and a joined-up vision from briefing to handover.”

Lenovo, Farnborough – Office of the Year: Sustainability
Designed and delivered with sustainability at the core, Lenovo’s new UK headquarters sets a benchmark for what a smarter, more conscious workplace looks like. From energy efficiency to wellbeing features, it’s a space that helps people feel connected and perform at their best.
Following the Farnborough project, we partnered with Lenovo on their flagship workplace in Paris, and we’re now onsite delivering a new space in Milan – continuing a strong collaboration with their global real estate team.
“We wanted a location that would provide a smarter workplace for all and a space for creativity within our team. The fantastic work by Area gives us a sense of purpose and belonging.”
– Stephen Higgins, EMEA Director of Real Estate, Lenovo

OSiT, Liverpool Street – Office of the Year: Design
A bold, imaginative coworking space in the heart of London. The OSiT Liverpool Street project reimagines a listed building into a distinctive, highly functional workspace – balancing old and new to create a seamless experience for users.

“We’re incredibly proud to see both projects recognised on the international stage,” added Lee Day. “This is what happens when talented teams and ambitious clients come together and back the process from start to finish.”
These wins add to a growing list of accolades for Area – and reinforce our belief that great design, delivered with care, creates real value.
